Clover, SC – With Winter Storm approaching, the Clover School District (CSD) has announced a transition to asynchronous E-Learning on Friday, January 10, 2025, to ensure the safety of students and staff. The district will provide direct communication to parents with details about the E-Learning Day.
The asynchronous format allows students to complete assignments on their own schedule without live instruction. Assignments will be available through Canvas, the district’s online learning management system, or in paper packets for younger students. This flexible approach accommodates varying family schedules while ensuring students can continue their learning.
Key Details for the E-Learning Day:
- No live instruction: Students will work independently on assignments.
- Assignment access: Materials will be available on Canvas or through paper packets.
- Teacher support: Staff will hold virtual office hours from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM to assist students with questions or technical issues.
- Work submission: Students will have until Friday, January 17, 2025, to complete and submit assignments. Work turned in by this date will count toward attendance for the missed school day.
Impact on Athletics and Activities:
All athletic events scheduled for Friday, January 10, and Saturday, January 11, have been canceled. The district will provide updates regarding rescheduling these events in the coming days.
Clover School District appreciates the community’s cooperation and understanding as it prioritizes safety during this weather event. Families are encouraged to stay informed through official district communications.
Stay safe, Clover!
