The town said a new mailing service, MultiTrac, may deliver some water bills only two to five days before payment is due.
Based on a release from Town of Fort Mill.
The Town of Fort Mill said customers may receive their physical water bills later than usual after the town switched to a new bill mailing service called MultiTrac, according to the town.
In some cases, bills may arrive only two to five days before the payment due date, the town said. Fort Mill apologized for any stress or confusion the delay may cause as officials work through the transition.
The town said a digital copy of each water bill is always available and up to date through its online customer portal, accessible through the Online Payments page at fortmillsc.gov.
Fort Mill is encouraging customers to verify that their account information, including mailing address, phone number and email, is current to help ensure timely notifications and reduce the risk of missed payments. Customers can update their information through a form posted on the town’s website.
Questions can be directed to the town’s Customer Service Department at 803-547-2034, according to Fort Mill.
