Rock Hill Industrial Piping & Fabrication has filed a lawsuit against Silfab Solar claiming it has not received payment for completed work totaling nearly $80,000 as reported by WBTV.
The lawsuit, filed on March 26, alleges that the Rock Hill-based company performed essential piping work at the Silfab facility in September 2025. According to court documents, Rock Hill Industrial Piping & Fabrication provided both labor and equipment for this project.
The company issued two invoices to Silfab Solar following the completion of its work. The first, dated September 24, 2025, was for $48,599.50, while the second invoice, sent on December 18, 2025, amounted to $30,421.50.
In total, the lawsuit claims that Silfab Solar owes Rock Hill Industrial Piping & Fabrication $78,981, plus interest and recoverable fees and costs. The complaint indicates that Silfab has failed to fulfill its payment obligations on multiple occasions, despite acknowledging its liability for the outstanding amount.
The lawsuit asserts that a contract was in place between the two parties, which dictated the purchase of services and materials. Rock Hill Industrial Piping & Fabrication contends that it completed all required work and is now seeking legal recourse for what it describes as a breach of contract by Silfab Solar.
