Mallory Dittmer to Address “No Kings” Rally at South Carolina State House; Calls for Restoring Accountability to Government

Mallory Dittmer, candidate for Congress in South Carolina’s 5th District, will join community leaders and citizens today at 12:30 PM on the steps of the South Carolina State House for the “No Kings” rally.

As a small business owner, co-founder of Community Advocates for Public Education, and the wife of a public school teacher, Dittmer’s address will focus on the urgent need to transition away from the era of “party-obsessed politicians” and toward a system that prioritizes the rule of law and the kitchen-table needs of South Carolina families.

“When we look at the gridlock in Washington, we see the real-world consequences hitting every family budget in this district,” said Mallory Dittmer. “People are exhausted by a political class that seems more interested in protecting its own power than the neighbors they were sent to represent. Whether you are a Democrat, a Republican, or an Independent, we can all agree that our government belongs to the people – not the political machine. Today is about reminding our leaders that in America, we don’t have kings; we have public servants who are expected to show up and do the work.”

Dittmer, known for her “Pragmatic Bridge-Builder” approach, will highlight how the current lack of accountability in government directly impacts the economy and the safety of our communities. She will argue that when politicians focus on consolidating power rather than solving problems, it is the taxpayers who pay the price through rising costs and a fractured education system.
