Mr. Lonnie C. Griffin, age 69, of Clover, SC passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House, in Rock Hill, SC.
A visitation will be held on Saturday March 21, 2026 beginning at 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at Bright Light Freewill Baptist Church, 1085 North Congress St., York, SC 29745. A celebration of life service will follow officiated by Reverend Adam Laster.
Lonnie was born on May 12, 1956 in York, Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late Sanford W. Griffin, Sr and Esther Updegraff Griffin. Lonnie was a proud veteran of the South Carolina Army National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Ward Griffin, and his son, Hunter C. Griffin. He is also survived by his sister Glenva G. Richardson.
In addition to his parents Lonnie was predeceased by his brothers, Ken Griffin, and Sam Griffin, Jr.
