Debi Cloninger has officially filed for re-election to represent District 7 on York County Council, reaffirming her commitment to strong, local leadership and delivering results for the community she calls home.
Cloninger’s campaign is built on a record of keeping promises and putting residents first. During her time in office, she has:
- Defended the community by voting NO on tax breaks for Silfab Solar, standing firm for family values and environmental protection
- Directed every available C-Fund dollar toward critical road improvements across District 7
- Supported impact fees to help fund Fort Mill school construction
- Voted NO on wasteful spending, protecting taxpayers
- Acted quickly to address water and sewer needs for residents
“Serving District 7 has been an honor,” said Cloninger. “We’ve made real progress, but there is more work to do. I’m ready to keep fighting for our community and checking even more boxes over the next four years.”
Looking ahead, Cloninger’s priorities include continued support for Pennies for Progress to improve local roads, advocating for infrastructure to care for displaced animals in York County, and maintaining a strong focus on government accountability to taxpayers.
A longtime South Carolina resident, Cloninger emphasizes that her leadership is rooted in service, transparency, and results.
