Indian Land’s Adam Hastings Named to Coaching Staff for Navy All-American Bowl

 In a prestigious nod to local high school football talent and leadership, Indian Land High School’s Adam Hastings has been selected to coach in the 2026 Navy All-American Bowl.

According to an announcement released by NBC Sports on Friday, Hastings will join the coaching staff for the East squad. He is one of a select group of coaches from across the nation chosen to lead the country’s top high school athletes in the annual all-star game.

Hastings will serve on the East team under Head Coach Mike Smith of American Heritage (Plantation, Fla.). The selection places the Indian Land coach among an elite fraternity; the Navy All-American Bowl is widely regarded as the premier high school football all-star event, featuring the top 100 senior players in the United States.

The 2026 Navy All-American Bowl is scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m. ET, and the game will be broadcast live nationally on NBC and streamed on Peacock.

Hastings represents South Carolina on an East coaching roster that includes staff from gridiron powerhouses in Florida, North Carolina, Delaware, Massachusetts, and New Jersey.

The Navy All-American Bowl has a storied history of showcasing future NFL stars. According to NBC, the game’s alumni include 594 NFL draft picks, 93 Super Bowl champions, and 247 Pro Bowl selections. Hastings will now have the opportunity to mentor the next generation of college and professional stars on this national stage.
