COLUMBIA, S.C. — Four lottery players across South Carolina are waking up richer after hitting big in Monday night’s Powerball drawing, including a lucky winner right here in Rock Hill.
According to the South Carolina Education Lottery, the Monday drawing produced substantial prizes in the Midlands, the Lowcountry, and York County.
Rock Hill Ticket Wins $50,000
Locals who stopped for gas or snacks on Celanese Road should check their tickets immediately. A ticket worth $50,000was purchased at the Circle K Store on Celanese Road in Rock Hill.
Other Winners Across the State
While the Rock Hill winner took home a significant prize, they weren’t the only ones with a lucky hand Monday night.

Newberry: The largest prize of the night, a ticket worth $100,000, was sold at the Xpress Mart on Kendall Road.

Gaston: Another $50,000 winning ticket was purchased at the Food Lion on Highway 321 in the Midlands.

Charleston: A player in the Lowcountry won $50,000 on a ticket with DoublePlay, sold at the Harris Teeter Fuel Kiosk on Folly Road.
Lottery officials remind all players to check their tickets carefully. Winners typically have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.
