York School District One Maintains Outstanding Performance on State Report Cards

York, SC – The South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) has released the 2025 State Report Cards, and once again, York School District One has maintained outstanding performances across several key indicators. The report cards assess school performance on several state benchmarks, including Academic Achievement, Preparing for Success, English Learners’ Progress, Graduation Rate, and College and Career Readiness.

YSD1 continues to demonstrate continuous improvement and growth, with two of its seven schools maintaining an “Excellent” rating and two others making impressive gains from “Average” to “Good,” reflecting the district’s strong commitment to student success. Schools rated as “Excellent” substantially exceed state standards, while those rated “Good” exceed expectations. An “Average” rating indicates that a school is meeting the criteria to ensure all students are on track to meet the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate.
