Tega Cay, SC – The Tega Cay Golf Club recently hosted a powerful display of community support as twenty pink-clad Tega Cay Lady Niners took to the links to celebrate breast cancer survivors and raise vital awareness for the cause. The dedicated group successfully raised over $500, which they proudly donated to The Go Jen Go Foundation.
The annual golf event served as both a tribute and a fundraiser, bringing together members of the community in a show of solidarity. The sea of pink attire highlighted the group’s mission to keep the conversation around breast cancer support and survivorship at the forefront.
The donation provides critical assistance to The Go Jen Go Foundation, a local nonprofit established in 2009 by co-founder Jen Pagani following her own battle with stage III breast cancer. Pagani recognized the devastating financial burden that often accompanies a diagnosis and founded the organization to address this unmet need.
The foundation’s core mission is to provide financial assistance to patients and their families throughout their diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. This includes covering essential household expenses, such as housing, utilities, transportation, and groceries, allowing patients to focus entirely on healing without the added stress of basic living costs.
