Lancaster County is holding a series of educational Town Hall series regarding the Transportation Sales Tax referendum ballot question.
This educational presentation will touch on the transportation sales tax referendum and bond question on the Tuesday, Nov. 4 ballot that will go to various road projects throughout the county over the next 10 years. The sales tax referendum would increase the Lancaster County sales tax by 1% and would expire after 10 years.
There are six public engagements that are spread throughout the county. Below are the following locations for the Town Hall series:
• Thursday, Oct. 2, Buford Recreation Center, 4073 Hurley Walters Road, Lancaster, SC, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, Oct. 7, Crossridge Auditorium, 3000 World Reach Dr., Indian Land, SC, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
• Thursday, Oct. 9, Del Webb Library, 7641 Charlotte Highway, Indian Land, SC, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, Oct. 14, Historic Courthouse, 104 North Main Street, Lancaster, SC, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
• Thursday, Oct. 16, The Train Depot, 103 Duncan Street, Heath Springs, SC, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, Oct. 21, Town of Kershaw – Town Hall, 113 North Hampton Street, Kershaw, SC, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
