SLED CHARGES FORMER KERSHAW COUNTY FIRST STEPS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR WITH FRAUD

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Kimberly Renee Jordan, 56, with Breach of Trust with Fraudulent Intent – value $2,000 or less, Breach of Trust with Fraudulent Intent – value more than $2,000 but less than $10,000, two counts of Breach of Trust with Fraudulent Intent – value $10,000 or more, Obtaining Property Under False Pretense – value more than $2,000 but less than $10,000, and five counts of Obtaining Property Under False Pretenses – value $10,000 or more, on Wednesday, July 9, 2025. Steps requested the SLED investigation.

Details can be found in the attached warrants.

Jordan was booked into the Kershaw County Detention Center.

The case will be prosecuted by the 5th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
