Fort Mill Schools Shine at 2025 Student Television Network Convention, Earning Top Honors

At the 2025 Student Television Network (STN) National Convention, held in Tampa, Florida, Fort Mill, South Carolina’s high schools showcased exceptional talent, earning multiple accolades across various categories.

Catawba Ridge High School:

  • Crazy 8s Morning Show Division I: The Catawba Ridge News (CRN-TV) team secured 2nd place, demonstrating their ability to produce a compelling morning show under tight deadlines.

  • Anchor Team: Eric Johnson and Talia Postel received an Honorable Mention for their outstanding on-air presence and delivery.

  • Sports Highlight Editing: Casey Fikis and Morgan Pierce clinched 1st place, showcasing their skill in creating dynamic sports highlight reels.

  • Vertical NAT Package: Bella Cardozo and Lily Romero earned 3rd place, highlighting their storytelling abilities in a vertical video format.

  • Vertical Short Film: Callie Mann and Skylar Torrey achieved 1st place, demonstrating creativity and innovation in short film production.

  • Weather Report: Kendra Murray secured 3rd place, reflecting her proficiency in delivering accurate and engaging weather segments.

Nation Ford High School:

  • Crazy 8s Newsmagazine: The NAFO-TV team earned 3rd place, showcasing their journalistic skills in producing a comprehensive newsmagazine.

Fort Mill High School:

  • Crazy 8s Newsmagazine: The Buzz TV team received an Honorable Mention, reflecting their dedication to quality news production.

  • Tell The Story Editing: Dezmond Massey and Parker DeWolfe earned an Honorable Mention, highlighting their adeptness in narrative editing.
