Brady Christensen, an offensive lineman, for the Carolina Panthers spoke to the Young Men of the Tega Cay Congregation of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He addressed the group on the occasion of Charlie Campbell, son of Amber and Jared Campbell of Tega Cay, announcing his plans to serve as a missionary for two years in Tampa, Florida.
Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who feel called to serve become missionaries, teaching about Jesus Christ or providing Humanitarian Aid in over 150 countries and more than 60 languages. These missionaries voluntarily serve at their own expense.
Christensen said, “It was an honor to share my journey with these young men and discuss how fears and anxieties shouldn’t stop us from accomplishing our goals. As you trust God, love what you do, and set your mind to it, success will follow.”
