York County 4-H Launches Journalism Project for Aspiring Young Storytellers

York County, SC — Budding journalists and photographers in York County have an exciting opportunity to hone their skills with the York County 4-H Journalism Project. Open to youth aged 12 to 18, this initiative offers a chance to explore reporting, photography, and writing while capturing the world of 4-H events.

What Participants Will Do:

  • Attend 4-H events as reporters.
  • Capture moments through photography.
  • Write articles to be showcased on the project’s website.

Key Details:

  • Kick-Off Meeting: February 4, 2025, at 6:00 PM (in-person).
  • Monthly Zoom Meetings: Held on the last Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM, running February through August.
  • Registration Deadline: January 31, 2025.
