YORK, S.C. — The York County Coroner’s Office has released the identity of a man shot and killed over the weekend in the city of York.
Officials confirmed Tuesday that Travis Lowe, a resident of York, was the victim of the fatal shooting.
The incident occurred on the night of Friday, Jan. 9, along West Liberty Hill Road. According to the coroner’s office, Lowe was pronounced dead at the scene.
As of Tuesday, Jan. 13, the investigation into Lowe’s death is ongoing. Authorities have not yet released further details regarding a suspect or a motive for the shooting.
