NASHVILLE, TN — Belmont University has officially released its Dean’s List for the spring 2026 semester, recognizing two exceptional students from York County for their outstanding academic achievements.
Local students earning this prestigious honor include:
-
Kristina Caputo of Fort Mill (29715)
-

Caputo and Barbery are among approximately 49% of the university’s 6,724 undergraduate students to secure a spot on the list this term. To qualify for the Dean’s List at Belmont, students must maintain a minimum course load of 12 credit hours, earn a quality grade point average of 3.5 or higher, and receive no grade lower than a C.
Dr. David Gregory, Belmont University’s provost and executive vice president for academic excellence, praised the students for their hard work during a milestone semester for the campus.
“The Dean’s List recognition reflects a commitment to excellence that is both personal and shared across our community,” said Dr. Gregory. “This semester marked meaningful growth across our campus, from breaking ground on new facilities to increasing support for our shared vision.”
Dr. Gregory added that Belmont students continue to prove what is possible when dedication meets opportunity. “Through their academic pursuits, their emerging impact on industry and their contributions to our campus community, Belmont students are rising to meet the moment,” he said.
