LOCAL STUDENTS EARN TOP ACADEMIC HONORS AT WESTERN CAROLINA UNIVERSITY

CULLOWHEE, NC — Western Carolina University has announced its academic honor rolls for the Spring 2026 semester, recognizing thousands of students for their exceptional academic performance. Among those honored are numerous students from our local communities who achieved spots on the prestigious Chancellor’s and Dean’s Lists.

The Chancellor’s List

To qualify for the Chancellor’s List, students must achieve a grade point average (GPA) of 3.8 or higher. A total of 3,170 students earned this distinction for Spring 2026. Students named to the Chancellor’s list are also automatically included on the Dean’s List.
