Two York School District One leaders have received inaugural Community Partner Awards from Affinity Health Center for their work strengthening families and improving access to care across York County.
Bryan Greeson, director of special services, and Jessica Elliott, coordinator of YSD1 Parenting Partnerships and Family Resource Center, each received one of only three inaugural awards presented during Affinity Health Center’s annual Hands & Heart Fundraising Luncheon.
The awards recognize organizations and individuals whose collaborative efforts have made a meaningful difference in the lives of children, families and the broader community, according to Affinity Health Center. The health center said York School District One was selected because of its longstanding partnership in expanding access to care, improving health outcomes and creating opportunities for students and families.
“York School District One has been an invaluable partner in advancing our mission,” Affinity Health Center said. “Through our shared commitment to serving children, families, and the broader community, we have expanded access to care, improved health outcomes, and created meaningful opportunities for those we serve. We are deeply grateful for your collaboration and unwavering support.”
The district’s Parenting Partnerships and Family Resource Center was separately recognized for its role connecting families with critical resources and services throughout York County.
“The Parenting Partnerships/Family Resource Center has been an invaluable partner in advancing our mission,” Affinity Health Center said. “Through our shared commitment to supporting children, families, and the broader community, we have expanded access to resources, strengthened connections to care, and created meaningful opportunities for those we serve. York School District One said it continues to partner with organizations like Affinity Health Center to ensure students and families have access to the services, resources and relationships they need both in school and in life.
