Paul Ziglar, 82, of Clover, South Carolina, passed away on April 6, 2026, at his residence.
He was born on October 18, 1943, in Pueblo, Colorado, to the late Frank Conder Ziglar and Verdie Stallings Ziglar. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Conder Ziglar, Jr.
Paul earned his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences from NC State and went on to build a diverse and meaningful career. He worked in forestry within the Pisgah National Forest, later served in an agricultural services role with the DEA, and in his later years was employed in the textile industry. A proud United States Army veteran, Paul carried a strong work ethic and dedication throughout his life.
He was a faithful member of Lake Wylie Christian Assembly. Paul found great joy in the outdoors-especially the mountains-and loved spending time fishing. He also enjoyed watching football, gardening, and feeding the birds, often keeping a close eye on them and chasing away any squirrels that tried to interfere. He had a deep fascination with eagles and an appreciation for the beauty of nature.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 23 years, Tammy Ziglar; his daughters, Robin Reeves (Stuart), Jackie Batson (Enoch), and Samantha McBride (Skyler Moore); his granddaughter, Lorelai Batson; sister, Donna Fay Moreland; sister-in-law, Sandra Ziglar; and a nephew, Frank Conder Ziglar, III (Tatiana), and their daughter, Jocelyn.
A memorial service to celebrate Paul’s life will be held at 1:30 PM on April 18, 2026 at Lake Wylie Christian Assembly, with Pastor Lewis Gunn, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
