Gear Up for High-Flying Action: The 2026 USA BMX Carolina Nationals Return to Rock Hill

The thrill of world-class BMX racing is rolling back into South Carolina! For the 12th consecutive year, the USA BMX Carolina Nationals will take over the Rock Hill BMX Supercross Track from March 27–29, 2026.

Marking the eighth stop of the 2026 USA BMX National Series, this three-day event promises non-stop excitement, drawing more than 1,200 top amateur and professional riders from across the United States and around the globe.

Event Highlights & The Battle for the Jersey

The weekend is packed with high-stakes competition. Here is what to watch out for:

  • Friday’s Elite Showdown: Friday serves as stop two on the USA BMX Pro Series and features the prestigious USA Cycling BMX Racing Elite National Championships. Representing the highest level of BMX racing in the country, American pro riders will go head-to-head for the coveted “Stars and Bars” jersey, earning the right to be called National Champion and wear the flag on their sleeve for a full year.

  • Weekend International Clashes: On Saturday and Sunday, an international field of pro men and women will battle for critical international UCI points (which count toward individual rankings) as well as USA BMX pro points to help crown a 2026 pro champion.

Gates will open early each day for practice, with food trucks and concession stands available on-site to keep fans fueled.

Location & Logistics

  • Where: Rock Hill BMX Supercross Track, 1307 Riverwalk Pkwy, Rock Hill, SC.

  • Admission: Races are completely free to watch!

  • Parking: $10 per day. For fans planning to catch all the action, a $30 multi-day pass is available to provide quick and easy entry all weekend long. (Note: While some local listings may mention free parking, be prepared for the $10 daily lot fee based on standard event operations).

Beyond the Track: Southern Hospitality in Rock Hill

“The City of Rock Hill is proud to welcome riders and spectators as the USA BMX Carolina Nationals returns for its 12th year at the Rock Hill BMX Supercross Track,” said Mark Sexton, recreation and tourism director for Rock Hill Parks. “We look forward to extending our Southern hospitality to riders of all skill levels traveling from across the country, including internationally recognized professional BMX riders.”

While the track offers top-tier racing, visitors have plenty to explore during their downtime. Located right by the track, the Riverwalk offers beautiful outdoor trails and riverfront paths. The city also boasts rich historic districts, local museums, and a wide array of fantastic casual dining spots to relax at between race days.
