The Nation Ford High School Varsity Winterguard won the gold medal in Scholastic A Class at the WGI Charlotte Regional+ on Sunday, March 1, 2026.
The WGI Charlotte Regional+ was hosted by WGI Sport of the Arts at Northwestern High School in Rock Hill, SC.
The NFHS Varsity Winterguard win follows up earning a silver medal earlier this season at the WGI Clayton Regional hosted by WGI Sport of the Arts on February 15, 2026 at Cleveland High School in Clayton, NC.

In finals competition, Nation Ford placed first among the fifteen top scoring Scholastic A ensembles. The group also earned first place in every caption: equipment analysis (tied with North Gwinnett HS), movement analysis, design analysis, and general effect.
