Mrs. Denise Marie Tyson Hopkins, age 78 of York, SC peacefully passed away at her home with her family by her side.
All services will be private.
Denise was born on February 9th, 1948 in North Tonawanda, New York. She was the daughter of the late George Zelie and Helen Upson Zelie. She retired from the Tonawanda school systems as a kindergarten teacher.
She is survived by her husband, Jack William Hopkins and her children Michelle Gould, and Bryon Webb (Pailot); her grandchildren, Kayla Perry, Ashely Webb, Sean Webb (Savannah), Thomas Gould, Anthony Gould, Cheyenne Gould (Nick Benfield), Steven Gould, Shaelynn Dolan, Katelyn Dolan, and James Dolan, along with her great-grandchildren, Avery Webb and Rivia Benfield. She is also survived by her brother Mike Zelie.
