On February 18, 2026, Ruth Parker Hudson left her earthly dwelling for her heavenly home. She was 77. Even as her memories faded and her thoughts became tangled like threads, the love she had for us remained. It was evident in the way her eyes lit up when we entered the room, in her attempts to communicate with us, and in the peaceful moments we shared in silence. Even though dementia altered the way the world knew her, it could never diminish who she was-a wife, mother, grandmother, friend, teacher, unwavering supporter, and loving guide.
