HEATH SPRINGS, S.C. – A fatal two-vehicle collision on Thursday evening has resulted in the death of a Kershaw resident, according to WSOC-TV.
The crash occurred at approximately 8 p.m. on Flat Rock Road near Whistle Lane in Heath Springs. Authorities identified the victim as 54-year-old Ashley Allen of Kershaw.
Lancaster County Deputy Coroner Lynette Walker responded to the scene, where Allen was pronounced dead. The collision involved two drivers and no passengers were reported in either vehicle.
As of Friday afternoon, authorities had not released information regarding the second vehicle or its driver. The incident remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office.
