CHARLESTON, SC – A distinct group of students from York and Lancaster counties were among the graduates recognized at the College of Charleston’s Winter 2025 Commencement.
The ceremony, held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, saw the university award more than 185 undergraduate and graduate degrees. The following local students walked across the stage to receive their diplomas, many graduating with academic honors.
Fort Mill Graduates
Ten students from Fort Mill earned their degrees during the winter ceremony:

Madison LoPresti graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Exercise Science.

Jacqueline Lee graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Elementary Education.

Abigail Castino graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Biology.

Madelyn Labarge graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Theatre.

Nathan Argo graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Exercise Science.

Lily Patrick earned a degree in Psychology.

Michael Vanartsdalen earned a degree in Business Administration.

Justin Lyons earned a degree in Languages.

Maclean Reilly earned a degree in Biology.

Mary Elizabeth Graham earned a degree in Studio Art.
Rock Hill Graduates
Four students from Rock Hill completed their studies:

Dakota Aradas graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Middle Grades Education.

John Hudson graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Commercial Real Estate Finance.

Anna Carter graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Environmental and Sustainability Studies/Environmental Geosciences.
