The NAACP South Carolina State Conference has finalized the schedule for its Annual King Day at the Dome, set for Monday, January 19, 2026. The landmark event will gather residents, faith leaders, and high-profile elected officials in the state capital to honor the life and enduring impact of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The day’s activities are divided into three main segments, moving from a historic house of worship to the steps of the South Carolina State House.

Featured Speakers and National Guests
Organizers have secured a roster of prominent national and state speakers. U.S. Senator Cory Booker is scheduled to deliver the keynote address during the final program at the State House. Earlier in the morning, Rev. Steven Evans of Bethel AME Church in Ridgeville will provide keynote remarks at Zion Baptist Church.
