York County 101 gives residents an opportunity to learn more about county government and the services provided through daily operations. Each session will introduce a variety of topics to give participants an overview of York County’s departmental functions and operational procedures and provide a venue to promote open lines of communication. In every class, information is presented by staff from each department with a wealth of knowledge and experience in their fields.
The academy is free to York County citizens 18 years of age or older. The class is offered over a four-month period from February to June, and will be held on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 9 a.m. until noon. Registration is required and is limited to 25 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Once you fill out the application we’ll reach out to you as soon as possible. For any questions, please contact Public Information Manager Greg Suskin at 803-620-2015 or [email protected]
