OCTOBER 26, 2025 (Fort Mill, SC) — Nation Ford High School Marching Band won their 11th 5A State Championship title on Saturday, October 25, 2025. The band’s 2025 win is their second consecutive after earning the 5A State Champion title in 2024.
South Carolina State Championships are hosted by South Carolina Band Directors Association (SCBDA), taking place over three weeks for classes 1A – 6A. Class 5A State Championships were held at River Bluff High School in Lexington, SC.
5A State Championships Preliminary and Finals Results
In preliminary competition, Nation Ford was named the 5A Upper State Champion, also earning High Music, High Visual, and High Overall Effect awards for the performance.

In finals competition, Nation Ford placed first among the twelve top scoring bands. The band also earned High Visual and High Overall Effect awards for their finals performance.

The Nation Ford Band is nearing the end of their season, with one community show and two nationally competitive performances remaining. Their remaining schedule includes:
- November 1, 2025 – Bands of America (BOA) Southeastern Regional in White, GA
- November 11, 2025 – Nation Ford High School Community Performance & Senior Recognition Ceremony at Nation Ford HS (free event)
- November 13-15, 2025 – BOA Grand National Championships in Indianapolis, IN
