Lancaster County, South Carolina – Lancaster County is excited to announce a new grant opportunity for area nonprofits, with $100,000 in funding available to support organizations that make a meaningful impact across the community.
To assist interested applicants, the County will host a Nonprofit Grant Information Session on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Lancaster County Council Chambers, located at 101 North Main Street, Lancaster, South Carolina.
During the session, County staff will present an overview of the grant program, including eligibility requirements, the application process, key deadlines, and submission expectations.
The grant application period will open November 1, 2025, and close December 31, 2025. Funding recommendations will be presented to County Council in January 2026, with final award announcements in February 2026.
“This initiative represents an investment in the outstanding work our nonprofit organizations do every day to enhance the quality of life in Lancaster County,” said County Administrator Dennis Marstall. “We encourage all eligible organizations to attend the information session and apply for this opportunity.”
To qualify, applicants must:
• Be registered with the South Carolina Secretary of State,
• Hold IRS nonprofit status, and
• Provide appropriate financial documentation, including audits or financial statements, along with a detailed program budget outlining revenues and expenditures.
