Lancaster County will cut the ribbon on a new airport terminal this Thursday, marking a milestone for local travel and economic development at Lancaster County Airport–McWhirter Field.
The celebration is set for 10:00 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 4, at 286 Aviation Blvd., Lancaster, SC 29720. County officials, community leaders, business partners, and residents are expected to attend.
County leaders say the terminal underscores Lancaster County’s continued growth and its commitment to investing in infrastructure that benefits residents and local businesses. The project is intended to enhance the airport’s role as a gateway for corporate, industrial, and general aviation activity in the region.
