The ceremony will open with an invocation from Honorable Chris Gray, Mayor of Tega Cay, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance presented by South Carolina Troopers Troop 4. Karen Pearson will perform the National Anthem to mark the solemn occasion.

Keynote speaker A.C. Williams, a retired U.S. Army 1st Sergeant, will share remarks honoring the fallen and those who continue to serve. Chris Doty of the York County Sheriff’s Office, Chief David Hord of Riverview Fire Department, and Lt. Col. Todd Puhrman, retired from the U.S. Army.

A moment of silence will offer attendees time to reflect and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Following this, Karyn Pearson will sing “God Bless America” before a closing prayer.

The celebration will conclude with a community picnic at the All Star Café, where attendees can enjoy hot dogs and hamburgers “with all the fixins and drinks.”
