Fort Mill teens from diverse religious communities gathered at Grace Presbyterian Church for the second annual Interfaith Night of Service. Youth from Temple Solel, the Sikh community, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints joined forces to share their faith traditions on bereavement, burial, and comforting the grieving. Together, the 25 youth assembled Manna Bags filled with essential supplies to support those experiencing homelessness, demonstrating the power of unity and service across faiths.
Pauline Childs of Temple Solel, who helped sponsor the event, emphasized its importance, saying, “Bringing young people together to serve and learn from one another strengthens our community in powerful ways.”
Mandeep Grewal of the Gurudwara Khalsa Darbar reflected on the experience, adding, “This event provided a wonderful platform for interfaith dialogue and learning. It was a truly valuable experience.”
