Fort Mill Gears Up for MLK Call to Service Event in Honor of Dr. King’s Legacy

In commemoration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s ideals of service and greatness for all, the Town of Fort Mill has announced its annual MLK Call to Service event, which takes place every January.

Scheduled for January 15, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., the event will be hosted at Town Hall, situated at 200 Tom Hall St. in Fort Mill.

The Town is extending an invitation to the public to participate in this noble cause by contributing to several local charitable organizations. These organizations serve communities in need and are in dire need of critical items to fulfill their missions.

Residents are encouraged to honor Dr. King’s legacy by donating essential items to support these organizations. For specific information regarding requested donations and the agencies involved, a downloadable flyer for this year’s event is available here.
