The two candidates for South Carolina governor will face each other in a televised debate next month in Columbia. The live, one hour debate is scheduled for Oct. 6 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the WIS studios in Columbia. WIS anchor Judi Gatson will moderate, with questions from Gray Media political reporters and anchors across the state. How to watch in York County
The debate will air live on Gray Media stations statewide, including WIS in Columbia, WHNS FOX Carolina in the Upstate, WCSC Live 5 in Charleston, WMBF in Myrtle Beach, WAGT in Augusta and WTOC in Savannah. In the Charlotte market, which includes York and Lancaster Counties, the debate will stream digitally on the WBTV website and news apps rather than airing on broadcast television.
The general election is Nov. 3. Voter registration and absentee information for York County is available through scvotes.gov.
