The Lazy Birds Band will play the Lancaster Cultural Arts Center at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at 307 W. Gay St. in downtown Lancaster.
Advance tickets are $21 online. Tickets purchased at the door are $25. Free parking is available on site and on the street.
The Lazy Birds are an American roots band from the mountains of North Carolina and have played the arts center before. Their sets pull from Appalachian, blues, folk, pop and Americana traditions, according to the venue.
Jay Brown leads the group on vocals, guitar and harmonica. He is joined by James T. Browne on drums, Brad Pope on mandolin and tenor guitar, Mitch Johnston on upright bass and Oliver Johnston on piano. Every member sings.
The Lancaster Cultural Arts Center is operated by the Lancaster County Society for Historical Preservation, which sells tickets to its concerts and other programming through lcactickets.org.
