Chester Middle School Teacher Placed on Administrative Leave Following Arrest in Rock Hill

A teacher from Lewisville Middle School has been arrested and placed on administrative leave following an incident that took place off school grounds, according to an announcement from the Chester County School District.

District officials stated they were notified of the arrest, which occurred on Wednesday evening in Rock Hill. Administrators confirmed that the underlying incident did not take place on any school property. Furthermore, investigators have found no indication that any students within the Chester County School District were involved or affected by the matter.

The school district is cooperating fully with local law enforcement agencies and has initiated an internal investigation to run parallel to the ongoing criminal probe.
