A months-long narcotics investigation culminated in a multi-agency raid on a Lancaster County residence last Thursday, resulting in five arrests and the recovery of various drugs, firearms, and a stolen vehicle as reported by WBTV.
The operation took place on Jan. 15 at a home located on Barberville Road. According to investigators, the search warrant was obtained following a controlled purchase of methamphetamine. Upon entering the residence, authorities encountered six individuals; five were taken into custody, while one person was determined to be uninvolved and was not charged.
Contraband and Evidence Recovered
During the search of the property, deputies seized a significant quantity of illegal substances and drug paraphernalia. The inventory of confiscated items included 2.2 ounces of methamphetamine, approximately half an ounce of cocaine, over two dozen Xanax pills, and nearly two ounces of marijuana. Digital scales were also found on the premises.
In addition to the narcotics, law enforcement discovered a Remington 12-gauge shotgun and a Ruger .380 caliber pistol. A motorcycle that had been reported stolen from Rock Hill was also recovered from the home’s basement.

Investigation Background
Lancaster County Sheriff’s officials noted that the raid was the result of extensive investigative work prompted by community complaints and intelligence developed over several months. The four counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime applied to both Schmader and White are tied to the simultaneous discovery of the weapons and the trafficking-level quantities of narcotics.
