Fort Mill’s Noah Hardy Picks Clemson

Fort Mill High School kicker Noah Hardy committed to Clemson University on Oct. 31, announcing his decision on X the morning after he made a 51 yard field goal in a road win at Boiling Springs.

The offer came just days earlier. Hardy posted on Oct. 28 that he had received a full scholarship offer after a conversation with Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney.

Three Seasons as Fort Mill’s Kicker

Hardy has been the Yellow Jackets’ starting kicker for three seasons. Over that stretch he has made 20 of 27 field goal attempts, or 74 percent, and 70 of 75 extra points, according to his MaxPreps career statistics. His longest make is a 54 yard kick from his junior year.

On Oct. 30 at Boiling Springs, Hardy went 3 for 3 on field goals, including the 51 yarder, as Fort Mill won 44 to 10 and moved to 8 and 2 on the season.

Hardy said his focus now is finishing his senior year strong and helping Fort Mill win as many games as it can. Hardy and the Yellow Jackets open the South Carolina High School League state playoffs against Lexington on Nov. 6.
