The Fort Mill Tree Fest will return for its second annual event on Saturday, Dec. 5, featuring 17 participating nonprofit organizations from the Fort Mill area.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at St. John’s United Methodist Church, located at 130 Tom Hall Street in Fort Mill.
The holiday celebration will feature beautifully decorated Christmas trees created by participating nonprofits. The trees will be displayed throughout the event and offered through a silent auction, giving attendees an opportunity to support local organizations while taking home a holiday centerpiece.
Organizers said 100% of proceeds from the tree auction will benefit the participating nonprofits, which represent a variety of local services and programs.
The event will also feature holiday music throughout the day, along with light holiday refreshments. Admission is free.
Fort Mill Tree Fest is part of an event tradition that has been held in other parts of the country for the past 11 years. Organizers brought the concept to Fort Mill last year, with this year’s event expanding to include 17 local nonprofit participants.
