SERIES HISTORY VS. LONGWOOD
The Eagles are looking to build off of last year’s 1-0 road win against the Lancers in Farmville. This will be the 15th all-time matchup between the two teams, with Longwood leading the series 9-2-3. Before last year, Winthrop’s previous win came back in 2019, its first-ever win over Longwood in program history. Sophia Balliet scored the equalizer goal against the Lancers in 2024 as the match finished in a 1-1 draw. This will be the first home match for the Eagles in the series since 2023. Winthrop is 2-3-1 at home this season, while Longwood is 2-1-1 on the road.

- Cordelia McIntosh scored the Eagles’ goal (her first of the season) against Radford and led the team with six shots, including five on goal.
- Monssi Avila-Gutierrez recorded an assist and finished with four shots.
