Fort Mill High School put up 63 points against Westwood on Friday night, and Indian Land and Lancaster both won by more than 30 as York and Lancaster County teams went 6-3 in Week 6 of the South Carolina High School League season.
Clover beat Nation Ford 14-2. Northwestern beat crosstown rival South Pointe 56-21 in an all Rock Hill Schools game. Rock Hill High was the only area team to lose outside a head-to-head matchup, falling 20-10 to Ridge View.
York County
Fort Mill beat Westwood 63-21, the highest point total by any area team this week.
Clover’s defense carried the Blue Eagles past Nation Ford. The Falcons scored only 2 points, and Clover needed just two scores to win 14-2.
Northwestern scored 56 points against South Pointe.
Lake Wylie won on the road at Lewisville, 31-22. Rock Hill came up short against Ridge View out of Richland County, 20-10.
Lancaster County
Indian Land beat York 39-6 in a game between the two counties.
Lancaster beat Union County 49-6.

Emerald beat Saluda 55-54, the highest scoring one-point game of the night. Portal edged Blackville-Hilda 39-38, and North Central beat Chesterfield 21-20.
In the Upstate, Gaffney held off Byrnes 20-17, and Seneca beat Pendleton 24-20. Batesburg-Leesville beat Clinton 35-28. Gilbert beat Chapin 28-24.
Marlboro County beat Conway 33-30. Hilton Head Christian beat Colleton Prep 31-28.
Spartanburg beat Charlotte Latin 39-34 in a game against a North Carolina opponent.

Hardeeville beat Burke 76-0, the largest margin in the state. Abbeville beat Calhoun Falls Charter 70-12. Camden beat Swansea 62-14, and Summerville beat West Ashley 58-10.
Chapman shut out Wade Hampton 47-0. Fairfield Central shut out Spring Valley 42-0, and Dutch Fork beat Gray Collegiate 42-7. Hilton Head Island beat Bluffton 57-12, and James Island beat Stratford 56-7.
