Democrats will gather in Lancaster County on Friday, Sept. 4, for an organizing event focused on building political support across South Carolina.
The event, titled “County by County: The Path to Power,” is part of the “Take It Back” tour featuring California Gov. Gavin Newsom.
Organizers say the event will bring together local Democrats and supporters to discuss strategies for organizing, competing and winning elections throughout South Carolina on a county-by-county basis.
The gathering is part of the broader “Road to Flip the Future” effort and will include an opportunity for attendees to hear from Newsom and local Democratic leaders.
Organizers said the event will focus on strengthening grassroots efforts and encouraging political engagement at the local level.
