Kristy Louise Odell Mason Cauthen, 34, of Rock Hill, SC, departed from this world unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
Kristy was born on Monday, December 16, 1991, in Rock Hill, SC. Throughout her life, Kristy has always been known as a free-spirited person. She walked to the beat of her own drum and lived life to its fullest every day. Her heart was pure; some would go as far as saying she was “loyal to a fault” because her family and friends were her world. To know Kristy was to love her, and you knew if you were with her, it was going to be a good time. She lit up every room she walked into, and her laugh was infectious. Whether it was on a riverbank fishing, camping, celebrating her favorite holiday, Halloween, or cruising down the highway on a Harley-Davidson Road Glide, you would always find her at her happiest. A loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend to many, Kristy will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Kenneth and Janet Mosley, she is preceded in death by her grandfather, Dennis Bryson.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Kaleb Cauthen; sons, Joshua Leroy and Kenneth Abel Estes; sister, Amanda Rogers; brother, Kyle Barber (JoAnna); grandmother, Mahovie Bryson; niece, Ella Barber; nephews, Dylan Barber, Maddox and J.J. Rogers; great-nephew, Walker Barber; as well as numerous other relatives and dear friends.
In accordance with Kristy’s wishes, she will be cremated, and no formal services will be held. She wanted to be remembered through the memories and laughter she shared with others. As you take a ride down a back road on your Harley, think of her, or raise a glass in her name and say, “Kristy, this one’s for you”. A private celebration will be held in her honor at a later time.
