Rock Hill, SC – On Wednesday, June 17, 2026, Culp Dental and Lume Orthodontics will host the fifth annual Project Little Smiles, a community-focused dental health day dedicated to providing free care for children in the Rock Hill area.
Led by Drs. Charlie Culp, Kimberely Helton, and Alex Culp, this annual event brings together a full clinical team to deliver dental services and education at no cost to families. Since its inception, Project Little Smiles has provided more than $100,000 in donated dental care, directly supporting children who may otherwise face barriers to accessing treatment.
This year’s event marks an important milestone, as both practices will serve patients together at 227 S. Herlong Avenue following Lume Orthodontics’ relocation to the shared facility later last year. The unified setting reflects a continued investment in coordinated, community-centered care and allows the team to expand its reach.
“Our goal is simple,” said Dr. Charlie Culp. “Every child deserves access to preventive dental care and the opportunity to build healthy habits early. When we remove barriers and meet families where they are, we can make a meaningful, lasting impact.”
Project Little Smiles is designed to deliver more than basic screenings. Patients will receive individualized care intended to address both immediate dental needs and long-term prevention. This year, the team has the capacity to treat more than 60 children and is actively encouraging families and community members to help spread awareness.
