Four Area Schools Place Players on 2026 Lacrosse All State Teams

Players from Fort Mill, Clover, Nation Ford, and Catawba Ridge picked up first and second team all state honors when the South Carolina High School Lacrosse Coaches Association released its 2026 selections.

The association named all state teams in both Class 5A and Class 4A for boys and girls. Among local programs in York, Lancaster, and Chester counties, four schools placed athletes on the lists, with Fort Mill High School and Clover High School leading the way.

Fort Mill earns boys and girls selections

Fort Mill High School landed the largest contingent of local honorees. On the Class 5A boys side, midfielder Charlie McGuire and long stick midfielder Xander Jantzen earned first team selections, joined by defensive midfielder Keegan Hisler. Second team boys selections went to attackman Carson Maloney, defender Ben Sandler, and face off specialist Chase Foster.

On the girls side, Fort Mill saw Cece Shia named first team attack and Molly Bennett first team midfield in Class 5A. Defender Reagan Michael earned a second team selection.

Clover places players on both squads

Clover High School also placed players on both boys and girls all state teams in Class 5A. Attackman Aiden Hawkins and midfielder Jake Nicely earned first team boys honors. Defender Brody Bowman and defensive midfielder Grady Stone were named to the second team.

For the Clover girls, defender Courtney Jenkins earned a second team selection.

Nation Ford and Catawba Ridge

Nation Ford High School and Catawba Ridge High School each placed one player on the Class 5A girls second team. Canaan Ross of Nation Ford was selected at midfield, and Carleigh Conroy of Catawba Ridge was named at attack.

About the program

The South Carolina High School Lacrosse Coaches Association releases its all state teams each spring at the conclusion of the state championship season. Selections are made across Class 5A and Class 4A for both boys and girls programs.
