Local Students Earn Academic Honors at Bob Jones University

Seven students from across York and Lancaster counties were recognized for academic achievement at Bob Jones University for the spring 2026 semester, with five named to the President’s List and two named to the Dean’s List.

The Greenville, South Carolina university announced the honors on May 11, recognizing approximately 580 students on the President’s List and roughly 600 students on the Dean’s List campus wide.

President’s List Honorees

The President’s List recognizes students who earn a 3.75 or higher grade point average for the semester.

Sydney Ballard, a sophomore Middle School Education major from Edgemoor, was named to the President’s List.

Joshua Hubbard, a sophomore Interior Architecture and Design major from Indian Land, was named to the President’s List.

Joshua Weber, a sophomore Communication Sciences and Disorders major from Fort Mill, was named to the President’s List.

Abigail Womble, a junior Early Childhood Education major from Rock Hill, was named to the President’s List.

Kevin Womble, a junior Biblical Studies major from Rock Hill, was named to the President’s List.

Dean’s List Honorees

The Dean’s List recognizes students who earn a grade point average between 3.00 and 3.74 during the semester.

Noah Broadwell, a freshman Biblical Studies major from York, was named to the Dean’s List.

Judah Nash, a freshman Interior Architecture and Design major from Rock Hill, was named to the Dean’s List.
