Mrs. Kathy Coble Ellis, 70, of Lancaster passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at her home. She was born October 4, 1955 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late William C. Coble and Ruby Catoe Coble. Mrs. Ellis was a member of New Cut Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed sending birthday, holiday and special event cards and loved playing bingo.
A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Ellis will be announced at a later date.
Mrs. Ellis is survived by her husband, James Ellis of Lancaster; two sons, Mark A. Ellis (Donna) of Rock Hill and Jason A. Ellis (Misty) of Lancaster; a sister-in-law, Cathy Coble of Lancaster; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and an aunt, Mable C. Mahaffey of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Wayne Coble; and a grandson.
