Clover School Board to Vote on Student Reassignment Plan

The Clover School District (CSD) Board of Trustees is scheduled to vote on the adoption of a Student Reassignment Plan during its meeting on Monday, Sept. 22. The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. in the District Office Boardroom, located at 604 Bethel Street in Clover.

The reassignment plan follows several months of community input, including three public forums and an online feedback form. Based on that feedback, district administration has recommended adjustments to the draft plan presented on Aug. 25.

The revised recommendations include:

  • Riddle Mill, Oakridge Road, Clarendon Estates Area: Reversed to original line
  • West of N. Hwy 321, Barrett Rd, Galloway Ln: Return to Kinard Elementary School, Clover Middle School and Clover High School
  • Ole Cambridge, Farris, Calder, Cedar Hurst, The Arbors Neighborhoods: Assign this community to Roosevelt Middle School
  • S. Paraham, Little Branch, Campbell’s Crossing, Vanderlakes: Assign this community to Bethel Elementary School, Roosevelt Middle School and Clover High School

Following the vote, district leaders will be available for media interviews. The adopted plan will also be posted on the Clover School District website once finalized: www.clover.k12.sc.us.
