FORT MILL, S.C. – Detectives with the York County Sheriff’s Office (YCSO) are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying suspects involved in a string of vehicle break-ins that quickly escalated into credit card fraud.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred in the early morning hours of December 13, between 12:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., at the Watergate Townhomes located off Gold Hill Road in Fort Mill.
Investigators report that the suspects entered two vehicles through unlocked doors. During the break-ins, they stole a laptop, a bookbag, and three credit cards.

Suspects Crossed State Lines Authorities say the suspects wasted no time using the stolen property. Immediately following the theft, the individuals allegedly traveled to Charlotte, North Carolina. The stolen credit cards were used at the 2030 Smoke Shop and More, located at 7520 S. Tryon Street.
The Sheriff’s Office has released images of the suspects involved and is urging anyone who recognizes them to come forward.
